Wouldn't it be great
if every high school
student who was physically
able had to pedal across
the United States in
order to graduate?

Great Parks Route
Great Divide Mountain Bike Route

GREAT PARKS NORTH ROUTE

August 13 - The Jocko Lakes Fire is west of Seeley Lake, Montana. SR 83 is closed between Summit Lake (map 23) and the intersection of SR 83 and SR 200 (map 24). However, conditions change daily, and we strongly recommend that you check the current status of the fire as you approach the area.

To avoid this fire, if heading south to Missoula, from Bigfork (map 21) you will need to go south on SR 35. In Polson, go south on US 93 to Missoula. Reverse these directions if heading north.

We strongly advise checking this as you get closer to the area as conditions change daily. For more information go to: http://www.nifc.gov/fire_info/nfn.htm or http://www.inciweb.org/.

GREAT DIVIDE MOUNTAIN BIKE ROUTE

August 13 - The Jocko Lakes Fire is west of Seeley Lake, Montana on map 1A. SR 83 is closed between Summit Lake, south of Holland Lake Rd.and the intersection of SR 83 and SR 200 (map B). Technically our route is not closed, but we highly recommend that cyclists not ride through this area due to threatening fire movement and heavy smoke. However, conditions change daily, and we strongly recommend that you check the current status of the fire as you approach the area.
